Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma.

EMDR helps us process negative feelings and change the way we think about ourselves and our memories. Unlike talk-therapy, EMDR reprocesses memories and feelings about the past faster by changing thought patterns directly to help you feel better in a shorter timeframe.

EMDR does not erase your memories, but rather soothes them, so they no longer have power over you.

EMDR Intensives are for people who want to experience faster results in therapy.

An EMDR Intensive is a personal healing retreat that will give you emotional relief within 1-3 days. Rather than struggling to find time each week to schedule weekly therapy sessions for an extended period of time.

You can fast track the healing and relief in a matter of days.

An EMDR Intensive is a personalized retreat experience without the daily distractions and fully focused on you. An experience tailored to your healing. It is an integration of aromatherapy, relaxation activities, grounding movement, trauma reprocessing techniques and a trauma-informed full body massage.

Because of the powerful healing effects of EMDR therapy, EMDR Intensives can produce faster results than weekly talk-therapy sessions. The techniques used during an EMDR Intensive healing retreat can help clients to process information faster and heal quicker.

EMDR Intensive healing retreats for group settings are also available. Whether you want to get a couple of your girlfriends together, a few church friends or offer it as a service to your agency staff.

Investment

  • $1,200 per day
  • A 50% deposit is required to confirm your appointment dates
  • The remaining 50% will be paid on the first day of the intensive

Location

  • Intensives are available virtually and in person in the Napa, California area.
  • You may travel from outside of the state or country to receive treatment (client is responsible for all travel arrangements and expenses).
  • Leslye is also available to travel to other parts of California for an additional cost for travel expenses.
